TUTORING/READING AT KOCH ELEMENTARY

Koch Elementary is excited to be working with Northminster tutors.  If you would like to give time to the tutoring/reading program or need more information, contact Anne Cox.

G.E.D. CLASSES AT NORTHMINSTER

Evening G.E.D. study classes are every Monday and Wednesday from 6-9PM in the Theatre.  If you know someone who may have a need for this study class, please call for the enrollment dates.  You can call the church office if you have any questions at 314-867-2881.

 

The Thrift Shop

The Busy Bee Re-Sale Shop is open every Wednesday from 10:00a.m. -1:00p.m. (except holidays).  The items that are sold in the shop are donations mostly from church members and friends.  The proceeds from the shop help support our Northminster Food Pantry.    Donations of clothing (in good condition), kitchen items, jewelry, bric-a-brac and other miscellaneous items are always needed.  Volunteers are also welcome.  

 

                                           

Community Groups

Northminster plays host to a number of community groups in the area such as AA, (for info on AA follow the link) Group 88 which meets Sunday night visit their website and the Inbetweeners group.

CUCA and NCCU are ecumenical coalitions that unite churches of all denominations into a common goal. CUCA or Churches United for Community Action is largely responsible for helping our community in getting action done.
NCCU or North County Churches United helps combat racism today's society.
North County Presbyterian Cluster, is a group of Presbyterian churches working together in a common mission and ministry.


Northminster has sent out many missionaries to various parts of the world. They include areas such as India, Nepal, Afghanistan, Alaska, Haiti and Peru.
