There are things all of us can do everyday to help preserve our environment for our grandchildren’s grandchildren and God’s good creation: · Buy a car that gets at least 30 miles to the gallon. · Replace standard light bulbs with energy efficient fluorescents. · Replace worn-out home appliances with energy efficient models. · Replace windows with energy-saving models. · Wrap your water heater in an insulating jacket. · Install low-flow showerheads that use less water. · Ask your utility company for a home energy audit to pinpoint the biggest energy-wasters. · Whenever possible, walk, bike, carpool or use mass transit. · Insulate walls and ceilings and save about 25% of home heating bills.
