EARTH DAY……EVERYDAY!

There are things all of us can do everyday to help preserve our environment for our grandchildren’s grandchildren and God’s good creation:

·             Buy a car that gets at least 30 miles to the gallon.

·             Replace standard light bulbs with energy efficient fluorescents.

·             Replace worn-out home appliances with energy efficient models.

·             Replace windows with energy-saving models.

·             Wrap your water heater in an insulating jacket.

·             Install low-flow showerheads that use less water.

·             Ask your utility company for a home energy audit to pinpoint the biggest energy-wasters.

·             Whenever possible, walk, bike, carpool or use mass transit.

·             Insulate walls and ceilings and save about 25% of home heating bills.
