Fellowship Groups The ROMEO'S (Retired Old Men Eating Out) meet at 8:30a.m. every 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month at Cracker Barrel (Highway 270 North and New Halls Ferry Road). You don't have to be retired, just hungry for fellowship, food and a good time. If you need a ride or directions, feel free to call the church office at 314-867-2881
Northminster Presbyterian Women The Northminster Presbyterian Women are a group of Christian women who are dedicated to Friendship, Mission and Bible study. The women support the Global and National mission of the Presbyterian Church, and they give freely of their time and money to meet local needs. This group has a history of making true friendships and gives an open invitation to all women to become part of this circle of friendship, mission and study. The Northminster Presbyterian Women meet at Northminster Church every 2nd Thursday of the month (except June -August) at 10:00a.m. in Hutchison Hall for fellowship study and mission. In May the group meets for its annual picnic at Nicolai Park in Dellwood at 11AM. All women are welcome to attend. This group meets on the 2nd Friday of every month (except June-August)to watch a movie and share a time of reflection, discussion and fellowship. The Thrift Shop If you're looking for a fun way to share your time and talents, the Thrift Shop is open on Wednesday's from 10AM - 1PM. Volunteers are always welcome. The proceeds from the resale shop help support the Northminster Food Pantry. If you are interested in helping out, please contact the church office at 314-867-2881
SIGN-UP FOR COMMITTEE OR TEAM There are endless opportunities to participate in the ministry and mission of Northminster Church, long-term and short-term. One way is by joining one of the six committees of Session or one of the many teams that do one practical task: Worship: Oversees the worship program and promotes spiritual growth of members. Mission: Engages the congregation in mission outreach at every level, local and global. Property Committee: Oversees building and grounds. Finance Team Oversees all aspects of church finances. Member Care: Oversees the care and nurture of the entire membership of church. Fellowship: Coordinates regular fellowship events. Stewardship: Enables effective giving and stewardship of resources throughout the year. TEAMS: Food Pantry, Thrift Shop, Sunday School Teachers, Choirs, Faith Based Community Organizing (e.g. CUCA), Tutoring Program at Koch Elementary School, Prayer Group, Northminster Women, ROMEOS.
